Are you a step mom looking for others like yourself? Being a stepmother is no easy task. All the therapy, advice or books in the world couldn't prepare you for this real-life experience. Partnering with your mate, their kids and their bio-mom can be overwhelming. Whether you're a stepmom with kids of your own or a stepmom with only stepchildren, there are women just like you looking for support. Join this group of new and experienced stepmoms looking to share experiences, difficulties, and triumphs with other stepmoms in the Bellingham area. We are headed into the Holiday season, which can be an interesting time to navigate in a blended family- issues of loyalties, boundaries and expectation can arise quickly. With this group, you will have a guide to help you negotiate all of those challenges successfully!

This is a group where we formulate positive solutions, hear each other’s stories and experiences, and collaborate to make our step-worlds better to live within. We may discuss readings from great books and articles on the subject of  step-mothering, or we may simply support a member who is having a challenging week. The group is designed to help Stepmothers learn useful skills and practical tools to use on the perilous adventures of being a "stepmonster", as well as learn to reach out and ask for help.

Whether you're a new stepmother or an old pro, join this group to benefit, learn and grow with other women.

If you are new to the group, please email my office at office@kinghealthassoc.com and we will arrange a time for you to have a brief phone call with me to make sure the group will be a good fit.
