King Health Associates has recently expanded its mental health services to include holistic services Acupuncture, Acupressure, Massage Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

The newly relocated wellness center in the Bellwether area currently offers six licensed mental health professionals with varied specialties treating all ages, an acupuncturist, a hypnotherapist and two massage therapists. Clients can choose traditional talk therapy and can also opt for more holistic treatments that support and complement their mental health treatments. Both mental health and holistic treatments can be scheduled online at https://KingHealthAssoc.com

King Health Associates has gone from strength to strength and over the last year has seen employee numbers triple as the community demand for excellent mental health care has grown, and there are plans to bring on a medications prescriber or Naturopath in the coming year. Clinicians offer expertise in anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, mindfulness, sexual abuse, domestic violence, addiction (behavioral and substance), parenting, LBGTQ, expressive arts and more, for individuals, couples, families, children and teens, using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, expressive arts therapy and solution focused brief therapy. In addition to working with individuals and couples, the center also provides community support groups and workshops teaching meditation (Sit With It), overcoming social anxiety (Facetalk), step-parenting (Stepmom Support), DBT (DBT Life Support), expressive arts (Art & Mindfulness), with exciting new groups planned.

King Health Associates is excited to bring acupuncture and massage therapy into the mental health field to give their clients a broader range of treatment options than is normally available. According to scientific studies massage has been very successful in treating mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, while acupuncture has a long history of beneficial effects that include positive effects on anxiety, depression and PTSD. Combining traditional mental health with body-centered treatments is an approach the center is keen to develop in order to give their clients a greater success in treatment.

King Health Associates can be contacted at 360-329-2055, or by email at office@KingHealthAssoc.com. More information about the center and practitioners available can be found online at https://KingHealthAssoc.com.
