Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Are you searching for a certified and state registered Hypnotherapist in Bellingham or a Bellingham Hypnotist? We offer Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy in our Bellwether location. Hypnosis is useful in working with patterns of behavior, strengthening and refining positive and decreasing and removing negative. Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis in combination with established therapeutic techniques to work on a deeper level, often working on entrenched behaviors and emotional trauma. Hypnotherapy can be helpful in working with issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, painful memories, grief, sexual issues, pain management, addictions, or even just as a tool to gain greater insight.

Complement To Therapy

Hypnotherapy works amazingly well when used in combination with your regular therapist. Often work in a therapist's office can plateau and progress grinds to a halt. Hypnotherapy can open up new areas to explore, give new insight into issues that seemed talked out. At King Health Associates we will often refer clients engaged in counseling to hypnotherapy when we feel a different perspective would help or when an issue would really benefit from an in-depth focus. Used in combination or as a stand-alone treatment, hypnotherapy will benefit you in ways you might not expect. The effects are often very subtle and yet very profound.

Importance Of Adequate Training

Finding a fully qualified and registered hypnotherapist or hypnotist can be a challenge. It is important in a field that is unregulated, such as hypnosis, to be sure of the skills and qualifications of the practitioners you chose. Hypnosis courses that consist of a few weekends of training are simply not enough time to learn even hypnosis basics, let alone the skills to safely work with clients. Seeing a practitioner who has only had a few weeks of training is taking a real risk with your emotional and mental health. At best you may simply miss out on a chance to experience the progress that can be made with a skilled and fully trained hypnotherapist, at worst you may end up with your issue being made more entrenched.

Fully Qualified Hypnotherapy

At King Health Associates our Hypnotherapists have undergone a minimum of 1-2 years of training in Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis and received qualification at accredited colleges, including hundreds of hours of supervised client contact. Hypnotherapists also required to engage in regular training such as trauma-informed care, and ethics. Although not currently required by state laws, we require our Hypnotherapists to adhere to the same state ethics requirements as for our Mental Health Professionals. All of our Hypnotherapists work under the supervision of our clinical director.

We invite you to experience the difference at King Health Associates and discover what successful hypnotherapy feels like.
